Speaking at Engage 2026

Later this month I will be speaking at Engage 2026, delivering the session Super-Charging Your AI with Domino REST API on Wednesday 24th April at 14:05 in Room E. The session will showcase a variety of AI techniques for integrating Domino applications with agentic interfaces or agentic engineering. The session demonstrates the art of the possible, but is primarily designed to provide the information needed to make the right choices when integrating Domino data with agentic solutions.

The abstract is:

AI is all the rage and full of buzzwords: Langchain, Langgraph, LLMs, RLM, RAG, Vectorisation, prompt engineering, context engineering MCP, MCP apps, agentic, generative. We clear them up to you and demonstrate what and how it works, so you gain a solid insight for solving business objectives using AI. We will showcase how the Model Context protocol (MCP) interacts and turbocharges the Domino REST API and related tooling.

As will be apparent from my blog posts over the last year, I've invested a lot of time in leveraging AI and keeping up-to-date with all developments. The session will draw on that expertise to cover MCP and more, integrating the latest evolutions in agentic engineering. For those willing to leverage the tools available, there are fewer barriers than ever before and rapid application development has been redefined.
